THE STORY
"Unstoppable: The Musical" is a gritty and emotionally charged drama based on the real-life stories of kids growing up in the foster care and child welfare system. The show was born in the streets of the South Bronx, revealing stories from kids who know all too well the perils of bouncing between foster care homes, looming deportation, living in homeless shelters, and gun violence. The show follows three families as they navigate a difficult path, finding solace within the transformative music program called Haven Kids Rock.
In 2024, as they gear up to take the stage one last time, their unanswered questions loom over them, highlighting the cripple reality of uncertainty: Where do we go from here? Will they continue to pursue the arts, go to college, or live a life on the streets? They are always left wondering," is this really it?"
"Unstoppable: The Musical" is a tale of struggle, hope and the unyielding power of the human spirit.
